Student wins Cosmopolitan Blog Awards 2015

»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ of »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Journalism graduate Dami Olonisakin has won one of Cosmopolitan's prestigious Blogger of the Year awards.

Dami who grabbed the top prize in the Best for Sex & Relationships category, developed of which she is Editor in Chief, out of a project for her final assessment at »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ. Since graduating, she has turned it into a leading relationship advice site, packed with useful features and tips.

Dami was thrilled to win Cosmopolitan's award. She said: 'I'm still in shock that my blog has been recognised by Cosmopolitan. I've wanted this win for a very long time and to finally get it feels like a dream come true. Who knew that a blog and a final year project at the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ of »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ would bring me so far?â€�

Also shortlisted was Broadcast Journalism graduate Emily Knott for her blog on beauty tips

Writing on her blog, Emily said: “I couldn’t be more honoured and grateful for the recognition! [I] felt an immense sense of pride to be part of the blogging community.�

Kate Ironside, Senior Lecturer in Journalism congratulated the pair:
